Alongside building a business, I want to be a good father
While building a company, I want to leave room for my children and for moments that are not measured by work. Nordheim Business has two books to read and explore together.
When you are building a business, the to-do list never really ends. A page needs fixing, an email needs an answer and an idea needs more thought. If I focus only on work tasks, it is easy to keep postponing the rest of life.
As a father of two young children, I want to remind myself why I am building a company. I want to create something meaningful and also be truly present for the people I share my life with.
Why are there children’s books on Nordheim Business?
I added two children’s books to Nordheim Business to read together and enjoy spending time with our children. A good reason to put the phone down in the evening, open a story and spend quality time with them.
There is no perfect balance between work and family life. Some days I get more done; on others, I close the laptop earlier. While growing the business, I want to leave room for moments with no metric or sales target attached.
